Infinix launched its two new smartphones named Infinix Hot 9 and Infinix Hot 9 Pro in India. Both smartphones have the same specifications with only differences in the camera department.
Infinix Hot 9 overview
Infinix Hot 9 has a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD IPS display having a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. This comes with a standard 60 Hz refresh rate display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90.5 percent screen-to-body-ratio. The display features a hole-punch style cut-out containing the selfie camera.
Hot 9 houses a quad rear camera setup having 13 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2 MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, and 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and an additional low light sensor. It features three LEDs flash as well. The rear cameras are aligned vertically in a line-shaped design. For selfies, this phone has an 8 MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture on the front.
The fingerprint reader is placed on the backside of the phone on the right side of the camera array. This comes with the same rounded design and aligned relative to the camera module on the upper middle portion of the phone. It comes with the same back panel design with a gradient finish with graphics. It measures 165.4 x 76.8 x 8.8 mm and weighs 185 grams.
This smartphone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and runs on XOS 6.0 based on Android 10.
For connectivity, this smartphone includes include a microUSB port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, infrared (IR) blaster, and more.
Infinix Hot 9 is available in a single variant in India which is quite rare in its segment. It comes with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM. The storage can be expanded using a dedicated microSD card slot.
This smartphone is backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery.

The Infinix Hot 9 and Hot 9 Pro will go on sale via Flipkart. The first sale for Infinix Hot 9 Pro is scheduled for June 5 at 12 pm (noon) IST and the Infinix Hot 9 will go on sale first on June 8 at 12 pm (noon) IST. As we have discussed earlier both the smartphone will be available in Ocean Blue and Violet colors.
