Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco launched its latest smartphone named Poco F2 Pro. Poco is known for its flagship specification in affordable pricing.
Poco F2 Pro is a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 Pro that was launched in March.
Poco F2 Pro overview
The Poco F2 Pro has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,400 pixels resolutions. It has a 60Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch-sampling rate, and comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It comes with a pop-up selfie camera making the display clean. This smartphone also equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back.
Poco F2 Pro houses a quad rear camera setup having 64 MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, a 5 MP telephoto camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 13 MP ultrawide camera with f/2.4 aperture and 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The rear cameras are aligned in a rounded module.
For selfies, this phone has a motorized pop-up 20 MP camera on the front. In terms of videos, this smartphone can capture 8K video at up to 30fps and 4K video at up to 60fps.
You would get an in-display fingerprint sensor in this phone. This smartphone measures 163.3 x 75.4 x 8.9 mm and weighs 219 grams. Poco F2 Pro includes a gradient back panel design and available in four different colors. Liquid-cooling technology is also there to dissipate the heat.
Poco F2 Pro smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM or 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10. There is no slot to insert a dedicated MicroSD card.
For connectivity, this includes include 5G, 4G LTE, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, infrared (IR) blaster, and more.
This smartphone is backed by a 4,700 mAh battery that also supports charging up to 30 W. This smartphone also supports Quick Charge 4+.

The Poco F2 Pro is available in two variants. The base 6GB + 128GB storage variant price is set at EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 41,500) and the 8GB + 256GB storage option is set at EUR 599 (roughly Rs. 50,000).
The smartphone comes in four color options – Cyber Grey, Neon Blue, Electric Purple, Phantom White.
It will be available for purchase via Gearbest and AliExpress, starting at $499.99 (roughly Rs. 37,900) globally starting from today. Poco F2 Pro will be available in India via Poco.net and Amazon.com. Details about the first sale of the Poco F2 Pro in India are yet to be revealed.
