Realme unveiled its latest 5G smartphone named Realme X50 Pro Player Edition. This new model is a cheaper version of the Realme X50 Pro 5G that launched earlier this year.

Realme X50 Pro Player Edition has a 6.44-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display having a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. This comes with a 90 Hz refresh rate with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display features a punch-hole containing the dual selfie camera.
X50 Pro Player Edition houses a quad rear camera setup having 48 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8 MP ultrawide camera with f/2.3 aperture, a 2 MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The cameras are aligned in a perpendicular line-shaped design.
For selfies, this phone has a 16 MP primary sensor with an f/2.5 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture on the front.
The fingerprint reader is present under the display. It measures 159 x 74.2 x 8.9 mm and weighs 209 grams.
This smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and runs on Realme UI based on Android 10.
For connectivity, this smartphone includes include 4G LTE, 5G (SA and NSA), USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, A-GPS, infrared (IR) blaster, and more.
Realme X50 Pro comes with a Tactile Engine and 4D game vibration sense 2.0. It allocates all the memory, processor, and battery power to enhance the gaming experience.
The smartphone also equipped with a Vapour Chamber along with a multilayer solid graphite for better thermal management.
Realme X50 Pro Player Edition is backed by a 4,200 mAh battery that also supports 65W SuperDart fast charging. According to the company, the battery will go from 0% to 100% in 35 minutes.

The Realme X50 Pro Player Edition is available in three variants. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant price is set at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 28,700), the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option is priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 32,000) and the 12GB RAM + 128GB storage model carries a price tag of CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 35,100). There is no option to expand storage capacity through an external memory card.
This smartphone will be available in Lightspeed Silver and Phantom Black color options.
Currently this smartphone is available for pre-order in China. The first sale is scheduled for June 1. There is no official announcement on the global launch yet.
