Xiaomi is known for its wide range of products ranges in different categories. The company unveiled its first-ever PC monitor named Redmi Display 1A in aggressively pricing with a very impressive design. This monitor was launched in China.
This is a busy week for the company as it launched many products in China and India. Xiaomi launched several products including RedmiBook laptops, smart TVs, and Redmi Earbuds S. Earlier, the company also unveiled Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi 10X Pro 5G, and Redmi 10X 4G models.
In India, the company also launched an 18W dual-port charger and a precision screwdriver kit. The company also teased RedmiBook and Mi branded laptops are coming to India.
Redmi Display 1A overview
With the launch of this monitor, Xiaomi officially entered into the PC component space.
The new Redmi Display 1A has a 23.8-inch full-HD IPS LCD panel with a standard 1920 x 1080px resolution. It has also standard 60Hz refresh rate and 6ms (GTG) response time. The peak brightness is 250 nits having a usual contrast ratio of 1000:1.
It has very thin bezels on the top, right, and left sides. The bottom chin is comparatively thicker than the other sides. According to the company the monitor has 7.3mm at its thinnest point.

The monitor comes with a 178-degree field of view and can also be slightly adjusted at fewer angles for viewing. It is TUV Rheinland-certified for low blue light emissions to help with protecting a user’s eyes.
It has a dedicated power button to On/Off the monitor and power inlet port at the back along with VGA and HDMI ports. The Redmi Display 1A measures 539.2 (length) x 181.2 (width) x 419.5 (height) mm.
Although the monitor has thin bezels on the sides, Xiaomi suggests that it can be used for a multi-monitor setup. Xiaomi is so confident about the Redmi Display 1A that it even provides a 3-year warranty.
Xiaomi is taking pre-orders for the Redmi Display 1A monitor in China through Xiaomi’s official website. This monitor is priced at CNY 499 (roughly Rs. 5,300) that is quite aggressive. Customers in China can place pre-orders for the device with a deposit of CNY 100 (roughly Rs. 1,100). There is no official announcement on international pricing and availability.
