Samsung Galaxy A21s Launched with Exynos 850 SoC, 5000 mAh Battery

Samsung officially launched another budget smartphone named Samsung Galaxy A21s. We have seen many leaks of this phone last week and the official announcement is here.

Design-wise, this smartphone looks similar to previously launched Galaxy A21. But Galaxy A21s comes with many specifications improvements.

Samsung’s Galaxy A series smartphone is very popular among users. A report claims that Samsung Galaxy A51 (4G) was the world’s highest-selling Android smartphone in the first quarter of the calendar year 2020.

Samsung Galaxy A21s overview

Samsung Galaxy A21s has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display having a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. This comes with a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. The display features a hole-punch providing space for the selfie camera.

Galaxy A21s houses a quad rear camera setup having 48 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, an 8 MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2 MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The cameras are aligned in an L-shaped design. For selfies, this phone has a 13 MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture on the front.

The fingerprint reader is placed on the backside of the phone on the right side of the camera array. This comes with the same rounded design and aligned relative to the camera module on the upper middle portion of the phone. It measures 163.6 x 75.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs 192 grams.

This smartphone is powered by the octa-core Exynos 850 SoC and runs on One UI 2.0 based on Android 10.

For connectivity, this smartphone includes include USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, infrared (IR) blaster, and more.

Samsung Galaxy A21s is backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery that also supports charging up to 15 W.

Samsung Galaxy A21s is available in 3 variants. These are 3GB RAM + 32GB, 4GB RAM + 64GB, 6GB RAM + 64GB models. The internal storage can be expanded through MicroSD card.

Europe’s price starting from about EUR 200 (about Rs 16,000). This smartphone would be available in Black, White, Blue, and Red color options. The phone will be available starting June 19 via Samsung official websites and selected e-commerce sites.
