Xiaomi has been launching innovative tech gadgets in the local Chinese market. Now the company has launched the Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P robotic vacuum cleaner in India.
Xiaomi is increasing the smart home ecosystem in India. Previous days we have seen the smart electric toothbrush as well as wireless power banks. Now, this product has been added to that line-up.
This Mi Robot Vacuum robot cleaners can both sweep as well as the mop. There are some advanced features as well.
Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P features
Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P comes with a two-in-one sweeping and mopping function. It comes with a Japanese brushless motor system that has a 2,100Pa suction power.
This vacuum cleaner is equipped with the LDS-powered laser navigation system that is capable of intelligent mapping and route planning. It works with an upgraded SLAM algorithm.
According to the manufacturer, the device has a scanning range of eight meters. This has a sampling rate of 2,016 times per second. This Robot Vacuum-Mop P measures 350×94.5mm and weighs 3.6 kilograms. It produces up to 70dB of noise while running in the standard model.
It is customized for Indian homes with Sweeping + Mopping mode. You can choose the Sweeping Only mode as well for dry cleaning the floor.
Xiaomi has offered an electronically controlled water tank powered by intelligent water dispensing on the Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop P.
You can connect the Mi Home app with the device to access various features such as real-time mapping, remote control, scheduled cleaning, and you can do all these things using your smartphones. After the first save the first cleaning, this robot vacuum cleaner marks the location of each room as a map on the Mi Home app. You can also restrict the Mop P not to clean carpets or washrooms. You can name different rooms using the same Mi Home app.
Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P is equipped with a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU to power the system along with a dual-core Mali 400 GPU. This helps the device for quick data collection and information processing.
This packs with a 3,200mAh battery that provides a running time of 60-130 minutes on a single charge. The device has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.
This vacuum cleaner also has an automatic recharge and resume feature. This drives the hardware to its charging point when it needs charging automatically. After charging completed it resume cleaning from the breakpoint. This feature seems unique but it not. Most of today’s robotic vacuum cleaners come with this feature.

The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P costs Rs. 29,999 in India. But an introductory offer can give you this device for Rs. 17,999. The EMI option is also available from Rs 2,999 per month for buyers. This vacuum cleaner only available in black color.
It is currently available as a part of a crowdfunding campaign. You can order this product through the Mi Crowdfunding platform. The shipping will start on September 15. Xiaomi has set 10000 units for this crowdfunding campaign.
